I was able to put together easily--and put it to use immediately. I especially like the ease with which I can adjust the fittings, if I need to. The design far exceeds that of the plastic reels. Great product!

Commment:	I bought one of these a few years ago. I had grown so tired of those plastic reels that would break every 2 years or so. The plastic reels, price wise, aren't cheap but the construction is. They always fail at a connection point and it is not possible to get replacement parts. I always had to be very careful attaching the metal hose end to the plastic reel for fear of damaging the threads. It really bothered me to throw out all that plastic-what a waste. The rapid reel is reliable and I really appreciate the all metal construction. I have not had a problem but if I do I know I can replace the part.

Commment:	This is the first hose reel that I have purchased where the product is as good or better than the claims made by the manufacturer. It does not leak, it is clearly strong and should be very durable, and it fits in nicely with my yard. I would highly recommend this product to anyone interested in buying a hose reel.

Commment:	I have never seen such a high quality hose reel. I am very impressed. With 150' of hose it reels much easier than the plastic model I replaced. The ten year guarantee against leaking makes this reel a tremendous value. Also, with no leaking I have higher water pressure. I was always replacing the plastic reel every 2-3 years for severe leaking. I plan on purchasing another one as soon as the plastic reel behind my house begins leaking.

Commment:	This is the first product that I have bought in years that I can actually say you get what you pay for! We are currently in a drought of over a month and I get up each morning to hand water my lawn. In past years when I have done this in a drought I have put up with a plastic hose holder that fell over, caused kinks, and leaked from the hook-up hose profusely. This year my rapid reel is so well made, it doesn't even move when I pull its hose out, no leaks,and incredibly smooth reel in. I am thrilled and will have one of these for the rest of my home owning years. If you own a plastic one, wake up and go steel. It's worth every penny. Mac McAmis

Commment:	I had a plastic hose reel before which was fragile and prone to leaking. Because of our foundation I don't like any unrequested irrigation. Your hose reel, true to your word, has not leaked a drop, is easy to rewind, and single-strut support makes it easy to pull the hose straight off the reel without even unwinding. So much better than the plastic junkers we've used up until now - you wind the reel, the hose rolls up. The cart/reel doesn't lean or tip over, or flex like the cheapo plastic ones do. Will definitely get a second one for the other side of the house, makes life so much easier!

Commment:	I am not one to EVER write reviews...but when I received my new stand alone hose reel, I was blown away. First of all, the packaging is the most professional and organized I have seen. The product construction, metal, not plastic, is so rare these days, I was shocked. And the assembly instruction were clear and consise with REAL tools to do the assembly!! I know this sounds like a company employee writing this, but other than Apple products, I have rarely seen such consumer oriented products in packaging, construction and utility. I would highly recommend this product.

I went through two plastic hose reels in three years - this reel is built to last. I also experinced a minor problem with the connection hose, which seems very well built. I made one short call and another hose was on my porch within days - no charge. I usually do not provide testimonials about products but this reel is fabulous. You won't be disappointed.

Commment:	I'm a Mechanical Engineer, read Consumer Reports, go through Amazon reviews before I buy, etc. I'm a pretty tough customer. When your free-standing garden hose reel arrived I immediately unpacked it and assembled it while sitting on the front stairs in about 10 minutes. I didn’t even have to go get any tools as you included all that were necessary. I then set it next to the packing material, product carton and shipping box and called my wife in to look at it all. I announced to her that I had finally found the perfectly designed, manufactured, and shipped product! You have earned my respect because of your attention to user needs, dedication to good engineering practices and commitment to quality. I purchased a wall-mount unit last year and was impressed then although there were one or two parts that were "weak links." I was aware of the weakness at the time and was still convinced it was the best product of its type on the market. Indeed a critical part did fail HOWEVER your customer service was superb and I was up and running in less than 2 days. I only mention all this because it highlights your commitment to product improvement. Your new design has completely eliminated any weaknesses that I could identify and improved on elements that were already adequate (such as converting the crank handle from plastic to metal). Congratulations, I wish great success for your company and wish there were more like you.
